Arcserve Backup Base Product

The minimum system requirements for Arcserve Backup are:

• CPU: 600 MHz Pentium III-compatible or faster processor; 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor recommended.
• RAM: 512 MB, 1 GB or more recommended.
• Monitor: 1280 x 1024 or 1440 x 900 video adapter and monitor.
• Disk Space:
  • Primary Server: 1.6 GB, plus 1.3 GB for Agent Deployment Packages
  • Member Server: 1.2 GB, plus 1.3 GB for Agent Deployment Packages
• To perform backup jobs for Transportable Shadow Copies using the Microsoft Exchange Server Writer, you must have Microsoft Exchange Server installed on your Arcserve Backup Server. Backups of this type fails if the Microsoft Exchange Server is not installed on the Arcserve Backup Server.
• Microsoft .NET Framework: Arcserve Backup requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 up to 500 MB of available disk space may be required.
• Arcserve Backup Database: Arcserve Backup supports the following applications to host the Arcserve Backup database (ASDB):
• For SQL Server support, refer to the Arcserve Backup 19.0 Compatibility Matrix .
• Adobe Reader: Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 and later
• Internet Browser: Arcserve Backup supports the following Internet Explorer browsers:
  • Internet Explorer 10.0
  • Internet Explorer 11.0
