Agent for Microsoft Exchange Server

Note: The Agent now installs the Exchange Database Level Agent.

To install the Agent for Microsoft Exchange Server, the following hardware must be available and configured according to the version of Microsoft Exchange Server you are running:

• The basic Microsoft Exchange Server hardware requirements (for information about these requirements, see the Microsoft website)
• CPU - any 64-bit CPU if using Exchange Server 2010, 2013, 2016 or 2019
• RAM:
  • At least 4 GB if using Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
  • At least 8 GB if using Microsoft Exchange Server 2013
  • At least 8 GB if using Microsoft Exchange Server 2016
  • At least 128 GB if using Microsoft Exchange Server 2019
• Disk Space: At least 100 MB, with at least 60 MB on hard disk where Exchange Server Agent is installed and at least 40 MB on the system drive
• Note: You must meet the basic Arcserve Backup product requirements before you install the Agent and Arcserve Backup on the same machine. For updated information about these requirements, contact Arcserve Support.
