Job Log Tab
The Job Log tab in the bottom panel displays information about specific jobs that have been executed. It is generated for each job that Arcserve Backup runs. You can specify the level of detail in the log by choosing the Log options before you submit the job.
Arcserve Backup provides the following log options:
- Log all activity--Record all of the activity that occurs while the job is running.
- Log summary only (default)--Record summary information on the job (including source, destination, session number, and totals) and errors.
- Log disabled--Do not record any information about this job.
Note: When you specify Log all activity, Arcserve Backup creates a log file named JobLog_<Job ID>_<Job Name>.Log. With this log file, you can view detailed logging information about the job. Arcserve Backup stores the log files in the following directory:
C\Program Files\CA\ARCserve Backup\LOG
