Tasks Supported by Multistreaming

The following table describes tasks that are supported and not supported by multistreaming.

  • Submitting rotation and GFS jobs using multistreaming.
  • Backing up data using pre and post operations and comments are supported at the parent job level.
  • Backing up Microsoft SQL Server data, Microsoft Exchange Server data, and Oracle RMAN data to a library.
  • Note: Local SQL Server data is backed up at the database level and remote SQL Server data is backed up at the instance level.
  • Backing up data using the Image Option to libraries.
  • Backing up data using pre and post operations are not performed for child jobs.
  • Backing up Lotus Domino data to a library.
