Enable Media Pool Maintenance

Using the Enable Media Pool Maintenance option you can allow daily maintenance of the media pool. Arcserve Backup performs media pool maintenance tasks according to the Prune job schedule.

To enable media pool maintenance

  1. Open the Server Admin Manager and click the Configuration toolbar button.
  2. The Configuration dialog opens.
  3. Select the Database Engine tab.
  4. The Database Engine dialog appears displaying the media pool maintenance option at the bottom of the dialog.
  5. Click Enable Media Pool Maintenance and click OK.
  6. Media pool maintenance is enabled.
