Limitations of Backing up and Recovering Data Using the Image Option

When backing up and recovering data using the Image Option, consider the following limitations.

• The option does not support backing up and recovering data at application level granularity.
• The option does not support backing up and recovering the computer's system volume. For example, drive C:\.
• File level restore is not supported for ReFS Volumes.
• File level restore is not supported for NTFS Deduplication volumes when the "system volume information" folder is compressed or encrypted.
