System Requirements for the Client Agent for UNIX

To use the Client Agent for UNIX, you must satisfy the following minimum system requirements on the supported operating systems:

Solaris SPARC

• Solaris Ultra SPARC models or higher or x64 systems
• 256 MB RAM
• 25 MB hard disk space on the client agent installation file system
• 25 MB hard disk space (temporary) on /var/tmp

IBM AIX (Physical machine and LPAR)

• RS 6000 models or higher
• 256 MB RAM
• 25 MB hard disk space on the client agent backup installation file system
• 25 MB hard disk space (temporary) on /var/tmp file system

FreeBSD x86

• x86 platform machines
• 500 MHz CPU
• 256 MB RAM
• 25 MB free disk space

FreeBSD x64

• x64 platform machines
• 1 GHz CPU
• 256 MB RAM
• 25 MB free disk space

HP-UX IA64

• HP-UX Workstation or Server
• 256 MB RAM
• 25 MB hard disk space on the client agent installation file system
• 25 MB hard disk space (temporary) on /var/tmp file system
