Volume Shadow Copy Error (<error_string>)

Task

Reason:

Volumes Shadow Copy service returns an error.

Action:

1. Check if the service "Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider" is disabled. If it is, change its status to "Manual".
2. Check the system event log (application/system) to see if there is a Windows system error.
3. Use the Windows command "vssadmin.exe" to check if all VSS writers are in the "stable" state.
4. Reboot the machine and see if this problem still occurs.
