Reason:
For certain TCP/IP connection errors, the backup server waits for the client agent to reestablish the TCP connection. If the agent reconnection request does not come for certain period of time, the backup server will time out and terminate the agent node backup.
This error is usually caused by a problem with the network environment, such as out-of- date network interface card drivers or malfunctioning network hardware.
Action:
- The Windows Client Agent supports the TCP reconnection feature from versions r12 and later. Ensure that the agent is later than r12.
- Ensure that the drivers for your network interface card are the most current drivers available.
- Ensure that your network switches and routers are functioning properly.
