Task
Reason:
The VM information is not complete or is missing from the database.
There is a database problem indicating that the Arcserve Backup backend is unable to retrieve the VM information from the database.
Action:
Repopulate the database by performing the steps below from the VMware Proxy if it is a VMware VM or the Hyper-V host if it is a Hyper-V VM.
- Open Backup Agent Admin. (click Start, Programs, Arcserve, Arcserve Backup, and click Backup Agent Admin.)
- From the drop-down list, select Arcserve Backup Agent for Virtual Machines and click Configuration on the toolbar.
- Complete the required fields.
- Click Execute.
