Error E4101

Unable to login to database engine. (DATABASE=database_engine_name,EC=db_error_code)

Reason:

1. The ARCserve database service is not running.
2. The ARCserve database is not accessible due to the network problem.
3. You might not have enough privileges (credentials) to access the ARCserve database.
4. The ARCserve database is not configured correctly.

Action:

1. Check the Database Error Codes (db_error_code).
2. Make sure that the SQLE or SQL service is running on the Primary server.
3. Check the network connection to the primary server.
4. Verify the ARCserve system account and ARCserve database are properly configured. Otherwise, correct them using the ARCservecfg.exe utility from the ARCserve installed folder.
5. Send the cadblog.log from ARCserve Home\Log folder to support.
