Reason:
This error message indicates that Arcserve Backup is unable to back up data or browse because the IP address or IPX/SPX address for the target is invalid or unspecified.
Action:
To address this error message, perform the following procedure:
- In the Backup Manager, locate the Client Agent entry for the affected node.
- Right-click the entry and select Modify Agent from the pop-up menu.
- Verify and update the machine name and address.
