Reason:

The Arcserve Replication operation cannot be completed within the time interval specified. The default timeout value is three minutes.

Action:

To address this message, perform the following tasks:

• Check the Master and Replica servers to verify that the Arcserve Replication engine service is running.
• Check the Arcserve Replication Manager to verify that the scenario is running and check the Arcserve Replication events log for any errors related to the scenario.
• Increase the timeout value by accessing the Arcserve Backup Client Agent registry tree and specifying the WANSyncTimeout DWORD to a value greater than 180 seconds, as follows:
• \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Computer Associates\CA ARCserve Backup\ClientAgent\Parameters\WANSyncTimeout
