Action:

To solve this problem, perform the following:

• Check the Activity Log and Windows Event Log for errors related to the Writer.
• Ensure that the specified Writer is running on the source computer. To do so, open a DOS window, change to the Arcserve Backup home directory, and run the following command:
• vssadmin list writers
