Error AE50002

Database [DBName] was removed from backup list due to its status / because it is Suspect / because it is a Mirror Database / because it is in a Standby state / because it is Inaccessible.

Note: This message can be presented as either a Warning Message (AW50002) or as an Error Message (AE50002).

Reason:

The database indicated is not eligible for backup due to its status, settings, or properties

Action:

If presented as a Warning, no action is required.

If presented as an Error:

• Damaged or Suspect databases are only eligible for Transaction Log backup with No Truncation, and only when using the Full or Bulk-Logged Recovery Models.
• Mirror and Standby databases are not eligible for backup, because they are waiting for or processing transactions from a restore or a mirroring partner.
• For any other reason, check the database status using the Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager or Management Studio for more information.
