Error AE50020

The NORECOVERY option is not supported when you back up transaction log files from the Microsoft SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups (AAG) replicas.

Reason:

Due to Microsoft SQL Server limitations, the agent does not support the NORECOVERY back up option for backing up transaction log files on SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups (AAG) replicas. See the Agent Backup Options screen.

Action:

Do not select the following options from the Agent Backup Options screen because Microsoft SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups (AAG) replicas do not support it:

Backup Method/Transaction Log
Log Truncation Options/Backup only the log tail and leave the database in an unrecovered mode. (NORECOVERY option)
