Agent for MySQL
Reason:
The Agent for MySQL is unable to complete the backup job. This could be for the following reasons:
- Improper connection between the Arcserve Backup server and the Agent for MySQL.
- Backup process from the Arcserve Backup server failed.
- An internal error has occurred.
Action:
If you are using a remote agent, check if the communication is normal.
For more information, check the following logs:
- MQagentd.log
- TAPE.LOG
- ARCserve.log
Note: The ARCserve.log is not generated automatically. To create the ARCserve.log, you need to run the following script: “ca_log –view Activity.log > ARCserve.log” to dump the contents of the Activity.log into this newly-created ARCserve.log file.
