Arcserve Backup Browser

The Arcserve Backup Browser displays when you select Backup from the Managers menu on the Navigation bar or from the Arcserve Backup Home Page.

The Browser is comprised of three panes:

• Tree View Pane-The left portion of the page is referred to as the Tree View. Use the Tree View for navigation. By default the branches (directories) of a tree display.

  To display the leaves (files) of the branches in this pane, select View, Preferences from the menu bar, and then select Show Leaf Nodes in the Enable/Disable Options area of the Preferences dialog.

• List View Pane-The upper right portion of the page is referred to as the List View. This pane displays the leaves (details) for the selected Tree branch. Objects can be selected in the List View. The information that displays in this area can be sorted by any one of the detail headings that are shown. Click a heading to sort the information based on one of the details.

  To make this area larger by hiding the Properties View pane, select the push-pin icon on the toolbar and choose Show List.

• Properties View Pane-The lower right portion of the page is referred to as the Properties View. This area displays additional information for a selected object as well as context menu choices.

  To make this area larger by hiding the List View pane, select the push-pin icon on the toolbar and choose Show Properties.
