Erase Options for Removable Drives

You may need to reuse or regroup your removable media. You can use the Erase Utility for Removable drives to do the following:

• Quick Erase - deletes the media label.
• Quick Erase Plus - destroys the media label and serial number.

Note: Formatting and erasing the removable media deletes the sessions on the media, not the user data.
