Media Session Report

This report provides information about all of the backup sessions that are on media. (Each source you select to back up is saved on media as an individual session.) The report contains the session information that is found in the Database Manager on the Job Records or Media View window when you highlight a record and click the Session tab. When you view this report, you are asked if you want the report to include all media or just one that you select.

For each media session, this report includes the following:

• Session number
• Start time
• End time
• Total files in the session
• Session method
• Status

Why would you need to view this report?

You can view this report to get a general idea of what is backed up on media when you need to restore files.
