Arcserve Backup allows you to define configurations for your methods and recipients used in the Alert notification system. A Method and Recipients Configuration is a set of available methods (for example, Printer) and their respective recipients (the printers on your network that receive the alert notification).
Note: The first time you open the Methods and Recipients dialog box, an untitled configuration tree is displayed in the browser at the left of the dialog. If you modify this configuration, you will be prompted to enter a new name for it.
