Rotation Scheme - Job Scheduling

You can schedule your job to run at a specified date and time, and/or to repeat regularly (automatically resubmitted to the job queue).

You should schedule your job when:

• You are submitting a "one-shot" job, but you do not want it to run now. You want it to run at a specific time, such as 12 am.
• You are submitting a job that should run regularly. This is especially useful for setting up a media rotation scheme for your network.
• Your storage device is currently busy and you want to run a backup job as soon as the drive is free. To do this, schedule your backup job with the current date and time. Arcserve Backup retries the job until the drive is free.
