Select this option to enable virus scanning.
There are four job types that support virus scanning:
Virus scanning is always done by the function of the job on the working server. The working server is the machine that CARUNJOB.exe is running on for that job.
For a backup job, if it is remote (64bit local) backup, the scanning will be done by the client agent. If it is a 32bit local backup, the scanning will be done on the local sever.
For a restore job, it is the same as the backup job.
For a copy job, if the source server is the working server, the scanning will be done on the source server. If the destination server is the working server, the scanning will be done on the destination server. If neither the source server or the destination server is the working server, the scanning will not be done on neither the source server or the destination server. It is done on the working server.
For a count job, it is done on the working server only.
