Add a Server to a Server Group

To add a server to a server group, perform the following procedure:

1. Right-click on the Server Group icon.
2. Select Add Member from the pop-up menu.

   The Add Group Members dialog appears.

3. Type the name of the server you want to add to the group in the space provided, and click Add.

   The Arcserve Backup Domain Security dialog appears.

4. Type your user name and password, and click OK.

   Note: Arcserve Backup does not support logging in to systems with passwords that are greater than 23 characters. If the password on the system you are attempting to log in to is greater than 23 characters, you must modify the password on the agent system such that it is 23 characters or less, and then you can log in to the agent system.

5. On the Add Group Members dialog, click close.

   The specified server appears in the list of servers under the selected group.
