Back Up Source Drives

You can only perform an Image backup on a workstation where Arcserve Backup and the Arcserve Backup Image Option are installed.

To back up a source drive, perform the following procedure:

1. In the Backup Manager window, click the Source tab.

   All the sources available for backup appear to the left.

2. Select the volume on the machine to back up. (The entire volume must be selected for backup.)
3. While on the volume you've selected, right-click the mouse.

   A pop-up menu with the Arcserve Backup Image Backup Option appears.

4. Select Use Image Backup Option.
5. When the Image Backup Options dialog appears, select the options you want performed during backup, then click OK.
6. Specify the destination, and schedule the job.
