Create and Manage Server Groups

Servers display in the left pane of the Job Status Manager. The servers are organized into Server Groups that you can create yourself.

Create a New Server Group

To create a new server group, perform the following procedure:

1. Right-click on the main Arcserve Backup Domains\Servers icon (at the top of the browser).
2. Choose the option New Server Group from the pop-up menu.

To manage a server group, right-click on the Server Group icon. A pop-up menu with the following options appears:

• New Server Group--Appends a new server group at the end of the list and then allows you to edit the name of the group.
• Delete--Deletes all servers in the selected group.
• Rename--Allows you to edit the group name.
• Add Member--Adds a server to the selected group.

Show List of Servers

To show a list of servers, double-click on the group. A list of servers belonging to the group appears. The right panel shows object information for the current selected object.
