Open the Database Manager

The Database Manager enables you to:

• Keep track of the location of your media.
• Determine the session number of your most recent backup.
• Determine if the media should be retired.
• View log information about jobs you have run.
• Delete old records from the database.
• Graphically compare the size of your database to the total available disk space

To open the Database Manager:

1. Select the Database Manager from the Quick Access window.
2. Job Records are shown by default.

Selecting a database view

The following database views are available:

• Summary View
• Job Records
• Media Records
• Device Records

To change the database record, select a new record from the drop-down menu.

Changing the sort order

You can change the sort order of records displayed in the Job Records, Media Records, and Device Records windows. To change the sort order in these windows, click on the field name on which you want to sort by.
