Restoring a Volume with Restore by Image

1. Open the Restore Manager window.
2. In the drop-down box below the Source tab, select the Restore by Image Backup Option.
3. Select the source containing the backup made using the Arcserve Backup Image Backup Option.
4. Select the destination (volume).
5. Schedule the job.

Arcserve Backup restores the entire volume that was backed up by the Arcserve Backup Image Backup Option.

Restoring Individual Files

1. Open the Restore Manager window. In the drop-down box below the Source tab, select the Restore by Tree or Restore by Session Option.
2. Select the source directory containing the backup made using the Arcserve Backup Image Backup Option.
3. Select the destination (volume).
4. Schedule the job.

Arcserve Backup restores the files that were backed up by using the Arcserve Backup Image Backup Option.
