Reason:

This error message indicates one of the following:

• The tape may have media errors
• A hanging session may have blocked access to the tape device
• The tape may have been backed up with the wrong block size

Action:

Restart the NDMP daemon on the server according to the procedure specific to your NDMP daemon. This can be accomplished using the command line or by restarting the NAS filer.
