Library - Advantages

Some of the advantages of using a library are:

• Automation--No manual intervention is necessary during backup and restore operations.
• Capacity--Libraries can contain multiple storage devices and the number of slots can reach into the thousands.

Note: Arcserve Backup does not support stackers. (Libraries allow random access of media slots, while stackers do not).
