Supported Storage Devices

Arcserve Backup provides broad device compatibility. A device is a piece of hardware used for storage. When attached to a storage server, a device reads or writes data to its corresponding media. Some examples of devices include:

• RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Devices) devices
• Removable drives
• WORM (Write Once Read Many) media
• File system devices
