Using Enterprise Tape Library 3494 and StorageTek ACSLS

This section contains information about using the options. After you install and configure the options on the CA ARCserve Backup server, you can use CA ARCserve Backup to perform the following tasks on the respective option:

• Enterprise Tape Library 3494--Manage backup and restore operations
• StorageTek ACSLS
  • Manage backup and restore operations
  • Update the configuration of the virtual library on the CA ARCserve Backup server with device or tape volume changes on the StorageTek ACSLS tape library

  Note: CA ARCserve Backup supports disaster recovery using the Enterprise Option for StorageTek ACSLS. For more information on Disaster Recovery, see the Disaster Recovery Option Guide.
