Installation Prerequisites Exclusive for StorageTek ACSLS

Before installing StorageTek ACSLS, ensure the following:

You have installed and configured the StorageTek Library Attach software Version 1.4.2 for 32-bit on the CA ARCserve Backup server.
Note: CA ARCserve Backup works only with 32-bit StorageTek LibAttach software.
You have established communication between the StorageTek ACSLS server and the CA ARCserve Backup server.
Important! Do this before installing the Enterprise Option for StorageTek ACSLS.
You have established communication between the StorageTek ACSLS server and the StorageTek Library Attach software.
You have configured the StorageTek ACSLS tape library and StorageTek ACSLS server.
You have selected your library configuration method and gathered the required information to configure your library using the selected method.
