Change Internet Explorer Security Options

To change your Security options in Internet Explorer, perform the following procedure:

1. From the Start Menu, select Settings, Control Panel and double-click Internet Options to access the Internet Properties dialog. Or, in Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet Options to access the Internet Options dialog.
2. On the Security tab, click Custom Level to access the Security Settings dialog.
3. Under ActiveX controls and plug-ins select the following settings:
   • Download signed ActiveX controls--Prompt
   • Download unsigned ActiveX controls--Prompt
   • Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe--Enable
   • Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins--Enable
   • Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting--Enable
4. Under Downloads select the following settings:
   • File download--Enable
   • Font download--Enable
5. Under Scripting select the following settings:
   • Active scripting--Enable
   • Allow paste operations via script--Enable
   • Scripting of Java applets--Prompt
