Rotation Scheme Configuration Dialog

The Rotation Scheme Configuration dialog contains the following options:

Note: Any changes you make to your rotation policy using the Rotation Scheme Configuration dialog are permanent. The Rotation Scheme Configuration dialog changes the method or media name used on that day of the week for the life of the rotation policy.

• Backup Method--from the drop-down menu, select the type of backup to be performed in your selected rotation policy. Available options are Off, Full, Differential, and Incremental.
• Media Name--Enter a media name, if you are customizing a simple rotation policy. You can change the media name to be used for your backup if you have chosen a simple rotation policy. If you have chosen one of the predefined rotation policies, you cannot change the media name.
• Staging--select if you want disk staging to be Enabled or Disabled.
• Execute Time--represents the execution time for the rotation scheme on the selected day.

  Use Default--represents the start date and execution time for the selected rotation scheme (as specified on the Schedule tab).

  Time--represents a user-defined time for the selected rotation scheme day.

• OK--Click OK to close the Rotation Scheme Configuration dialog and save your changes.
• Cancel--Click Cancel to close the Rotation Scheme Configuration dialog without saving changes.
