Failed to get the agent version. Deduplication devices cannot be used for agents whose version may be below r12.5. (Node=[node name] [node address])

Reason:

Arcserve Backup failed to get the version of the agent. The deduplication device does not support the old Windows/UNIX/Linux/Mac agent whose version may be below r12.5.

Action:

1. Upgrade the old agent to the latest version. You can get the benefit from the deduplication feature.
2. Remove old agent(s) from this job and resubmit the job.
3. Check the network connection between the agent and the server.
