Failed to save the session password into the Arcserve Backup Database.

Task

Reason:

You are using the Password Management feature, but the Arcserve Backup Database Engine is not in the ready status. It is because either the Database Engine is not started or it failed to do initialization.

Action:

• Check the Database Engine service status in the Server Admin Manager. If it is not running, start it.
• Check the activity log and see if there is an error message that indicates that the Database Engine has failed to do intialization. If that is the case, check the help for that error message for further instructions. You can also turn off Password Management by unchecking the Save password checkbox on the Backup Manager, Global Options, Encryption tab.
