Task
Reason:
While updating staging information into the Database for a session, Arcserve Backup encountered an error with the Database.
Action:
If the system memory is low, find out the process which is using the most memory from WIN Task Manager. If the CPU utilization is too high, find out the process which is using the most CPU from WIN Task manager.
Check if the database engine is still running. Verify the server which hosts the Database is reachable and also verify that the Database services are up and running.
Ensure the following log files are available from the Arcserve Backup installation path \LOG directory:
Note: The ARCserve.log is not generated automatically. To create the ARCserve.log, you need to run the following script: “ca_log –view Activity.log > ARCserve.log” to dump the contents of the Activity.log into this newly-created ARCserve.log file.
