Unable to update migrated session information to the database. (Media=<Media Name>, ID=<Media ID>, SerialNo=<Serial No>, Seq=<Sequence No>, Session=<Session No>, RC=<Error Code>)

Reason:

At the end of the migration, Task tries to update the migrated session into the database. But while doing so, the database returned an internal error.

This could cause the Reports to not work properly.

Action:

Check if the database engine is still running. Verify the server which hosts the database is reachable and also verify that the Database services are up and running.

Ensure the following log files are available from the Arcserve Backup installation path \LOG directory:

• JobQueue.log
• TAPE.LOG
• ARCserve.log

  Note: The ARCserve.log is not generated automatically. To create the ARCserve.log, you need to run the following script: “ca_log –view Activity.log > ARCserve.log” to dump the contents of the Activity.log into this newly-created ARCserve.log file.
