Reason:

There exists a location with the same name as you are migrating data from another server. This causes the migrated location to renamed and appended with ‘~’.

Action:

Change the location name as follows:

1. From the Arcserve Backup Navigation Bar, select Administration and click on Media Pool.
2. Click on the Location button to display the Location Maintenance dialog.
3. Select the location name which needs to be modified and then click the Modify button.
4. Specify the new name according to your naming convention.
5. Click OK to save the changes.
