MUX: The first child job with JobNumber = [job number], token = [token number], which was joining Multiplexing tape has expired its joining duration of [number] seconds.

Reason:
The first multiplexing subjob of the master job started, but it failed to provide the first byte of data to the Tape Engine before the time-out period elapsed. Because it is the first subjob that failed, all other subjobs related to the master job will fail as well. The job may have timed out for the following reasons:
- Your network connection might be down.
- The job might be stuck while preparing the agent for backup.
- There might be a problem with the agent.
- An internal Arcserve Backup error occurred.
Action:
To address this error message, perform the following:
- Ensure that your network connection is running.
- Check the Activity Log and the agent log for more information.
- Run makeup jobs to back up any failed agents.
- Ensure that the Activity Log, Tape log, and agent logs are available.
- If the problem persists, contact Arcserve support for online technical assistance and a complete list of locations, primary service hours, and telephone numbers.
