Multiple Device Support: Database '<Database Name>' will be skipped: Multiple Device Support requires use of the Multi Stream option.

Reason:

The specified database was selected for backup with multiple backup device support enabled. However, the Multistream option was not selected for this backup job.

This error may be accompanied by Warning W2247.

Action:

If this message is not accompanied by Warning 2247, modify the backup job and select the Multistream option in the Destination tab of the Backup Manager.

If this message is accompanied by Warning 2247, the Multistream option is already selected, but only one backup device was selected. To correct the problem, modify the job in one of the following ways:

• Select a Device Group with multiple backup devices.
• Select the Any Group option.
• Enter a Device Group name with a wildcard (for example, GROUP*).
