Reason:

This message indicates that a mailbox creation failed. Mailbox creation can fail for the following reasons:

• The global catalog server could not be contacted, or a Windows application or system error occurred.
• A disabled mailbox with the same name already exists.

Action:

To address this error, perform the following:

• Check the Event Viewer Application Log and System Log for recent errors. In addition, check the agent logs DBAEXCUserSummary.log and WinUserUpd.log.
• Check the Exchange System Manager to determine if there is a disabled mailbox with the same name. If you recently deleted a user account associated with the mailbox you are trying to restore, use the Run Cleanup Agent feature in the Exchange System Manager and purge the mailbox.
