Reason:

An error was reported while attempting to connect to Microsoft SQL Server. The user name for whom the failure occurred and the Microsoft SQL Server, ODBC, or Windows error message are included.

Action:

The action to take depends on the error which occurred.

• If you are using a SQL Server authentication, the user name or password may be incorrect. If you are using a Windows authentication, the Windows user specified may not have rights in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Microsoft SQL Server may be offline.
