Error AE51016

Cannot preserve Arcserve Domain Membership information from destination database. The destination database is not an Arcserve Database.

Reason:

A backup of an Arcserve Database was selected for restore, and the “Preserve ARCserve Domain Memberships” option was selected. However, the restore was sent to an alternate location, and the destination specified is not known by the Agent for Microsoft SQL Server/Agent for ARCserve Database to be an active Arcserve Database. The option is only valid when the destination database is a known Arcserve Database for an ARCserve r12 installation, because otherwise the Arcserve Domain Memberships information may be either absent or invalid.

Action:

• If the database is (or was) in an active Arcserve Database for an Arcserve r12 installation, then install the Agent for Arcserve Database on that machine and apply it to that specific Instance of Microsoft SQL Server. For more information, see the Administration Guide.
• If the destination database is not an Arcserve Database for an Arcserve r12 installation, then re-package the restore job without the “Preserve ARCserve Domain Memberships” option.
