When you highlight a library drive, you can see two types of information: summary and detail.
Since a library drive is considered an integral part of the library, and a library is slot-based as opposed to device-based, the Eject option is the only option available when a library drive is highlighted. Therefore, the only operation you can perform when a library drive is highlighted is ejecting media from the library drive so that it can be returned to its home slot for removal.
Selecting the Summary tab displays general information about the library drive, such as its vendor, product name, firmware version, and SCSI compliance.
Selecting the Detail tab displays detailed information about the library drive, such as its group name, cartridge type, format code, compression, block size, and device status. The Media Information panel indicates which media is currently located in the library drive.
