Add a Cloud Account for Google Cloud Platform
This section provides information about adding a cloud account to copy files or recovery points to Google cloud storage.
Follow these steps:
- On the Protect screen, under Destinations, click Cloud Accounts.
- On the Cloud Accounts page, click Add a Cloud Account.
- The Add a Cloud Account dialog appears.
- From the Site drop-down list, select the desired site.
- Type a display name for your cloud account. Each cloud account must have a unique name.
- From the Cloud Service drop-down list, select Google Cloud Platform.
- Specify the Key Type, and then click Save:
- ID/Secret Key: Provide the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.
- JSON: Click Browse JSON File, navigate to the location where the JSON file is saved, select the JSON file, and then click Open.
- Notes:
- To configure AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud data store in Google Cloud Platform, select the ID/Secret Key key type.
- To configure Virtual Standby to Google Cloud Platform, select the JSON key type.
- The cloud account is added to the Console.
