Add a Cloud Volume

Note: Only Super Admin, Admin, and Tenant Admin can add destinations.

Important! For trial organization, you can create destination after trial is activated from the Dashboard or Entitlements page.

To add a destination, you must have the data center that acts as server.

This section provides information about how to add a cloud volume as destination.

Follow these steps:

  1. On the Protect screen, under Destinations, click Arcserve Cloud.
  2. On the Arcserve Cloud screen, click Add Cloud Volume.
  3. The Add Cloud Volume dialog appears and displays the account name.
  4. Type a display name for your cloud volume. Each cloud volume must have a unique name.
  5. From the Data Center drop-down list, select the required data center.
  6. From the Retention drop-down list, select the desired duration for retention.
  7. (Optional) For Comments, type any additional information.
  8. Click Add Cloud Volume.
  9. The cloud volume is added successfully and you can view or modify it from the Arcserve Cloud screen.
