View and Manage Browse Recovery Points

Arcserve® Cloud Console lets you view and manage sources from the browse recovery points.

On the Browse Recovery Points screen, do the following:

• Search for Sources: Allows you to search for specific sources. To search, type the source name in the search box, and then click the search icon.
• View details of Sources: Allows you to view a list of existing sources with the details such as Source Name, Cloud Service, and Recovery Point Count.
• View the Summary, Logs, Jobs of the Browse Recovery Points: Allows you to view the detailed screen of Browse Recovery Points. It contains three tabs such as Summary, Logs, and Jobs. To view the details of the three tabs, click the name of the source. For more information, see View the Summary, Logs, Jobs of the Browse Recovery Points.
• Actions: Allows you to perform operations on multiple sources. To perform operations on more than one Source, click Actions drop-down list, and do the following:
• Purge: Click to delete all the recovery points for the selected sources. A confirmation dialog appears and asks you to confirm if you want to delete the recovery points. Click Purge to confirm.
• Merge: Click to merge the multiple sources from a data store. For more information, see Merge.
• Manage a Data Store: Allows you to manage existing sources of a data store by performing various operations such as Start Recovery, Refresh, Purge, Merge, Restore, Create an Instant VM, Create a Standby VM, and Run Assured Security Scan Now.
• From the list of sources, click the Action drop-down list of each source, and then do the following:
• Start Recovery: Click to start recovery of the source. For more information, see Recover a Recovery Point for UDP Agent.
• Refresh: Click to refresh to the latest information of a source.
• Purge: Click to delete all the recovery points for the selected sources. A confirmation dialog appears and asks you to confirm if you want to delete the recovery points. Click Purge to confirm. To check the current status of recovery point deletion, click Refresh.
• Merge: Click to merge the multiple sources from a data store. For more information, see Merge.
• Create an Instant VM: Click to create an Instant VM. For more information about how to create an Instant VM, see How to Create an Instant Virtual Machine.
• Note: This option is available only for the Agent-Based Windows, Agent-Based Linux, and Agentless VM.
• Create a Standby VM: Click to create a Standby VM. For more information about how to create a Standby VM, see How to Create an Ad-hoc Standby Virtual Machine.
• Note: This option is available only for the Agent-Based Windows, and Agentless VM.
• Run Assured Security Scan Now: Click to perform an Assured Security Scan. For more information, see How to Perform an Assured Security Scan.
• Note: This option is available only for the Agent-Based Windows, Agentless VM, Oracle Database, and UNC or NFS.
