(Optional) Run the Virtual Standby to Hyper-V Task Manually

To manually run a Virtual Standby job, you must first perform a manual backup. The Virtual Standby to Hyper-V task is associated with a backup task. If a policy includes a backup task and a Virtual Standby to Hyper-V task, then when you manually run the backup job, the Virtual Standby job runs automatically after the completion of the backup job.

Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Protect > Policies.
2. From the Action drop-down list of a policy that has an Virtual standby to Hyper-V task assigned, click Backup.
3. The backup job runs.
4. The Virtual Standby to Hyper-V job runs immediately after the backup job is over.
